Simple Mold Inspection
A typical mold inspection of an isolated section of a residential property costs around $400.00 to $500.00 and up depending on the number of samples taken. The mold inspector will conduct a complete in-depth visual inspection of the area of concern. Several test samples are taken including one outdoor air sample and around 2 to 5 indoor samples. The outdoor sample is typically done by a professional Miami Ft Lauderdale area Florida mold inspector to be used to determine if indoor spore levels are unusually high when compared to the outdoor levels. Fee includes all spore analysis fees, mold inspectors report, and remediation recommendations. If deemed advisable and with your permission, additional mold test samples may be taken for analysis at an additional cost of $100.00 each.
Standard Mold Inspection - Includes Five to Eight Samples
If you know there are at least a few or several rooms with visible mold growth or water intrusion, or you or a family member is experiencing illness, you can have the above-mentioned visual Florida mold inspection and testing of the accessible areas conducted. Five to eight samples will be obtained for testing. The total fee is $700.00 to $1000.00, mold inspection report, and remediation recommendations.
Extensive Mold Inspection - Includes 10 to 20 Samples and up
Additional samples are needed for homes that have a more severe mold problem, most commercial or multi unit properties up to 10,000 square feet, residences where the occupants are experiencing illness from hidden molds or where there are legal issues requiring documentation. This fee also applies to general indoor air quality investigations. Typically the fee is $1000.00 to $2000.00 and up. This fee includes all analysis fees, lab report, mold inspectors inspection or indoor air quality report, and remediation recommendations.
